Fortunamp3 Player - Based on TCPMP, it plays MP3 files very nicely, and video pretty good as well.  Skinnable
 
Coreplayer - The commercial version of the old TCPMP with added options.  Very nice, one of the best
 
GSPlayer - Simple and easy MP3 player
 
Hum - Very nice MP3 player, was commercial, now released by authors in the public domain.  MIPS & SH3 versions too
 
Liteplay - About as simple as you can get...load a song and play it
 
Lyricsmagic - Unique player that allow you to view lyrics as it plays along with the music...if you have the file
 
Mimidi - Midi utility, which I know little or nothing about
 
Mortplayer - One of the most comprehsive players you can find, fully skinnable with multiple screens
 
MPegPlayer - Simple MPeg player with limited features
 
PhantasmX - Without a doubt the very best MP3 player for quality and sound I ever used.  Has a nice clock feature too
 
PocketMVP - The only true rival to Coreplayer, lots of feature, super nice controls
 
PocketSpark - Plays simple Macromedia Flash files
 
PocketTV - Very nice MPeg player, HPC version is free
 
Resco Radio - My favorite radio music streaming application
 
TCPMP - Where Coreplayer got its start...very nice for free software
 
Winampaq - Full featured MP3 player
 
Windows Media Player 9 - Hey, it works pretty good and comes with my 900C
 
Windows Media Player 1.2 - Hey it is skinnable and can be downloaded to all the older HPCs
 
WinVibe - Simple and straight forward, yet very powerful. Very nice interface.  QVGA version shown.
 
XAudio - Another fully functional MP3 player with various options
 
Nitrogen - Super nice, easy to use, create your own custom skins very easily
